Reel Insulators, also called spool insulators, are manufactured from virgin UV resistant polypropylene plastic. We offer two type of reel insulators used for electric fence.
Anti Climb Insulator are manufactured from virgin UV resistant polypropylene plastic. These are easy to fix without any ties & breaks away if loaded beyond a certain amount of tension.
Corner Post Insulator are manufactured from virgin UV resistant polypropylene plastic and used to secure the wire of the fence to the metal posts.
Super Strain Insulator are manufactured from virgin UV resistant polypropylene plastic and used to secure the wire of the fence to the metal posts.
Does rain affect electric fence?
Yes, they can lose some voltage during and after rain, especially if your insulators aren't good enough or touching weeds and brush. Cut the brush and improve your insulators. Also look at a bigger fence charger if you have a small one.
